Dear Paul .

     This is the scheme Baehr has in mind partly for himself & partly on my account.  He has now got where he can handle big things & is taking a number of large ones.  He would like to get Greeley, Boulder Fort Collins & the rest of that Northern Country and of course to do this the first thing is the "Northern"[.]  He says he can handle it easy & he is going to send to Denver on a vacation one of his men (the one who figured out Greeley) & look the matters over & see what can be done.  Of course if he could get the Northern the rest would be easy & I know he would give us a good price & if you wanted fix you in charge.  Now I dont know whether this can be done, but he wants to do it and of course if it could we would be all right.  I

am especially anxious that you should have something bigger to do & then of course I would like to be where we could draw out instead of pulling it.  Of course I can get along alright & am not hard up & have no financial matters to cause worry.  Still I would like to have it done.  Of course I would not agree on any thing that would not be satisfactory to you, but it wont do any harm to try.  I am very busy & still watching for my chance to go which I know will not be long delayed.  It is a long time since I have seen you.
