Dear Paul

     The first letter was sent to Vogel without reading.  Enclosed is an other I am sending now[.]  I am very much better have not been to a Dr. yet but shall.  Did not mean to tell Mecker that you would get up a [?] for his father.  If I was doing anything I would try to get one of the clubs either xxx Commission or Rotary to give a warning to it.  Of course Mecker is a little batty on the question[.]  The statement of amount is very good considering the weather.  I am very anxious to get cost down.  We ought to be making something.  I don't like to pay wages too low but if your rate is naturally higher than the rest, I don't think you
