Dear Paul.

     I have paid $3000? in to your account & ordered out 40 Brazilian Traction Co. gas. & 100 to me[.]  Have also ordered out xxx my Anaconda.  This required some borrowing & shifting but makes the account look better.  I will of course see that it is all taken care of clear through.  I dont believe things can go much lower.  I am slowly improving & shall go away in about a week & will keep you posted.  I am strong for doing something in the gas business either a raise of rate or a deal with Daugherty if possible if

things do not look materially better by fall.  I think we ought to figure to make something now if there is any way to do it and if not of course we will be satisfied as it is.  By the way I think Mr. Baehr expects you to write him in answer to the last letter dont you.  Guess you better do it.
