Dear Paul

Was glad to get your letter.  The showing is fine.  I am hopeful that you have passed the hard stuff.  I have not yet seen Baehr but will soon.  I had a good time in Greeley and wish I could have staid longer, but think I will be out again at holiday time.  I am hoping that coal will not advance much but think it well to get all you can at present prices.  I have 50 shares of Brazilian Traction that was issued in your name.  So I suppose you owe me $50.  Have not found business very lively since I got back, but it will no doubt pick up soon.  It seems as if all prices are going up again, so perhaps you had better be a little slow about reductions, but whatever you think best to do is all right with me.

Love to Lilian & the kidds

Did you start the new [bench?].
