Dear Paul

     To day I received your cable gram.  I suppose I was a little panicky.  Use your own judgment.  Of course I think things are high & that there will come a time to buy.  The oils may do better soon, but lots of people must have lost all they had in the slump & they wont get in again soon.  There is no reason why you should not use any money I have.  Also if things go wrong again sell the last stuff you bought for me and pay it in, of course you can give xxx your note when I get back and that will do as well as any thing.  I was afraid you might find yourself with an awful big load and be obliged to sacrafice, It

is tough to borrow in a falling market and I dont want to see you get in a corner.  Probably things will not [react ?] much.  I think they will gradually go down but what do I know about it.  I see that there is some new stock to be taken as rights in the Penrod Co.  The Pa Cent organization.  Do whatever should be done[.]  May not got to Southern France will wire if I do.  Shall be back about the 20th of Dec.  Think we will land something for you to do if you need it then.
