Dear Paul?

     This from Fred to your father arrived some time ago,?and instead of destroying it I send it to you for whatever it's worth or not worth?Your father has replied, I believe,—perhaps not so definitely that you can't have some say-so somehow if you have any idea that you want to suggest.  I haven't time to write much, and nothing to tell, excepting that people seem utterly sick of the talked-of trial and everywhere we hear the belief that it will not be carried out,?but still, no-one knows for sure, yet, and of course we are anxiously hoping that the matter will be dismissed.  I hope that you and your little family are all well and getting along O.K. in every respect.  Your father probably hears oftener than I do, but he is too absorbed in his own affairs these days to remember to mention anything not especially important or particularly intended for me.  Much love to you all always from
