Hugo Munsterberg

Hugo Munsterberg, Professor of Psychology at Harvard University, went to Idaho to examine Harry Orchard. He greatly angered Clarence Darrow when he later revealed to newspapers during the Haywood trial that he believed Orchard was telling the truth. He had promised the defense he would not reveal his opinion until after the trial. In 1907 he published an article titled "Experiments with a Multi-Murderer" in McClure's Magazine in which he describes his examination of Harry Orchard although he does not mention Orchard by name.
