Miller telegram
Jan, 1906
Telegram from Fred Miller, an attorney working for the Western Federation of Miners, to "T. Hogan" (a.k.a. Harry Orchard) informing him that Miller "will start for Caldwell in the morning." It was sent on January 3, 1906, just days after the murder of Frank Steunenberg. The prosecution introduced into evidence to show a connection between Harry Orchard and the Western Federation of Miners. Miller later worked on the defense team during the Haywood trial.
