Dean John H. Wigmore

John Wigmore, dean of Northwestern University School of Law, severely criticized the use of psychiatric experts hired by the defense in the Leopold and Loeb case as well as the experts' findings. Dean Wigmore believed that the use of partisan experts in trials was wrong and only the court should appoint experts.
