The Clarence Darrow Letters

Clarence Darrow to C.E. Johnson, January 9, 1925

Clarence Darrow to C.E. Johnson, January 9, 1925
Mr. C.E. Johnson,
Bank of Galesburg,
Galesburg,
Illinois.

My Dear Johnson:-

Fred has sent me your letter in reference the $1000 Greeley bonds that you have put up as collateral.

The reason these are not renewed is because we are taking them up. We already have most of them. If you are willing to carry this one a little longer, you might do it, but if it becomes necessary, on account of the bank examiner or for any reason, make a draft on my son Paul Darrow, Greeley, Colo., with the bond and he will send you cash for it.

With kind regards, I am,

Very truly yours,

Clarence Darrow
