Clarence Darrow to J.H Russell, May 29, ????

My Dear Russell – May 29.
I don’t see anything I could do about the proposition you stated. The slump has hit me pretty-hard and I can’t speculate. Of course my judgement is of no value in the proposition. I am sending it to Frank Woolfe – who is in Fort Worth. I am sorry you are having hard luck. The whole world seems to be going the same way. I hope fortune may change with you and all of us. Remember me kindly to Mrs. Russell.
With best wishes
Clarence Darrow
